Balloon Classic~

A disappointing evening at the Balloon Glo, they didn't inflate them due to wind. We still tried to have some fun and eat. For those of you who haven't seen the new hair style yet, here it is after a very long Saturday!

So we told her to go throw it in the garbage and she hit the side of this truck with it. We were laughing so hard, I just had to get a picture. She had no clue what she had done, but I don't think she would have cared anyway.

Some people have been asking about this page, and I have done a poor job of keeping it up. Here are some photos of Matt's visit. It was an awesome time, but went by too quickly. We are getting ready for the kids to start school next week and then I have a couple of weeks to myself before I go back. I hope everyone had a great summer break.

Here is the dog with the other two. She loves to be right next to them at all times. It makes some tasks a little challenging, but the kids enjoy her so I can't complain.

The clothing is not optional for her. She needs a sweater or jacket or she isn't going outside. She also doesn't like to go out alone in the dark. This may be due to her previous owners since she was a stray, but I find it to be funny for now, ask me again in a few weeks.

Here is Lola, she is the sweetest little thing. We rescued her this week from the Humane Society and so far she is doing very well with the kids as well as other people. She doesn't even mind that we dress her up in clothing!!!!!

Happy New Year!!!! The girls had their first sleep over with "The Boys" as they call them. (They are brothers from our unit that live down the street) The four of them play so well together and had such a great time, as seen by the photos. I don't think that any of them lasted until midnight, Cole was out first, but the others sure gave it a good try. I hope everyone's festivities were fun and safe. The girls went to a birthday party at one of the ice rinks today. They had a blast, started off slow, but quickly grew to like it. I didn't get on the ice since I had the baby, but plenty of other mothers were eager to get out there, so have at it. The last thing I need is a broken bone for Christmas. One of the mothers is trying to get the girls to take lessons, but I think my schedule is full enough for next semester.

We will have more pictures this week since Regan is having her school birthday party and all three girls have Christmas parties on Friday, then it is off to Iowa. Have a great week everyone!!!

SNOW DAY!!!!!!! We had some snow here in Colorado Springs!!! No one had to work or go to school so the "kids" built a snowman and had a snowball fight. It was a lot of fun for all. I hear that it should be gone by the weekend so they may as well get out there now.

Rian had her second field trip last week, she went to the Happy Apple Farm on Thursday and loved it. I think she picked out the ugliest pumpkin ever, but she likes it so that is all that matters. Regan has her first field trip this Friday and they are going to the Fire Station. She is excited about riding on a bus. Cole is now starting to laugh more, as you can see by the picture. He has the biggest mouth I have ever seen on a little guy, but it is still cute to me.

We visited Mr. Biggs last weekend and had to drag the girls out of there. Next time we go it will be an all day event. That is such a cool place, but one really needs to plan ahead before taking children there. The girls loved bowling, and getting their pictures taken.

This is a picture of Liz and me. We were at a picnic for the unit and of course they gave Matt the camera. Rian is fighting of a cold this week and I can imagine that the rest of us will get it as well. The weather here is getting cold and wet so I suppose it is that time of year. I will have to go get some extra soft tissues and some medicine to keep in the house. I just don't want the baby to get sick, I have no clue what do to for him. School is going well for all of us, we are checking into full time preschool for Regan since she loves it so much.

School Days: Rian and Regan both started school this year. Rian loves kindergarten and doing her homework. Regan just likes getting out of the house a few times a week for preschool, they are both growing up so fast and never cease to amaze us.

Well here is the best picture I have of all three kids. Yes Cole is sleeping, but that is what he does really well right now, of course eating is right up there too. The girls help as much as possible with him, even when it is unwanted, so he never has to cry for very long.
